Soundtrack and Music composer

Working with TIGA award-winning team from University of Portsmouth (2024) at the realisation of a museum sandbox video game.

Currently collaborating as an external Music Composer and Sound Designer in charge of creating original soundtracks and sound effects for the video game.

Music has always been an integral part of my life. For as long as I can remember, I would seize every opportunity to listen to it, using a small Sony MP3 player that my father gave me (he technically didn't give it to me, but I was using it so much that it eventually become mine).

What began as a simple love for music gradually turned into an obsession: I needed to know what happened behind the scenes during the creation of the tracks I enjoyed the most. Like many teenagers in the 21st century, I turned to the internet to learn the basics of music production. As expected, I wasn’t particularly skilled at first, but I didn’t mind—I was having so much fun exploring the process. Eventually, a few of my high school friends and I decided to team up and publish our first tracks together.

After five years of studying foreign languages in high school, I finally made my decision. From that moment on, I committed to following my true passion and building a career in music production.

That's when my alias, Reffe, came to life. Interestingly, the first thing I created was the logo—mirrored initials of my name. From there, it was just a matter of playing with variations of my name and surname, drawing inspiration from the many nicknames I’ve been given over the years, and getting input from friends. It’s been a defining part of my identity ever since. :)

Financial wealth or fame are not primary factors that drive my passion and my craft.

My reasons are simple and lie far beyond those pursuits.

What I truly want is for people to listen to my music and experience the same emotions I feel when I listen to music that I love. Music that hits you in the gut harder than a professional boxer’s punch. Music that fills you with an indescribable sensation that sparks a journey through your own thoughts and emotions. Music that ignites every fibre of your being.

This is it. This is what I hope people feel when they listen to my music.
